SPECIAL NOTE:

The Citizenship & Immigration Regulations have recently been changed (November 28, 2008) to allow only applications for permanent residence from those applicants with one of 38 listed occupations listed: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

However, for those whose occupation is not on that list, applicants who have Arranged Employment offers in Canada will be ‘fast tracked’ through the visa post processing system. The government states that the length of this processing will be 6-8 months. There are many ways of finding employment opportunities in Canada, and we have attached some of those resources here. As you search these, you will find they refer to more which will reflect your individual interests as to the area where you wish to work, and the kind of work you are searching for. Good luck and please do keep Fuerst Law in mind as you go through these postings.

Another signficant option is to ask your family and/or friends who are in Canada to help you find the right match of employer. In some cases a job offer, if it is for an occupation which is in very high demand might allow you to enter Canada on a work permit first while we process your application for permanent residence. Our legal fees will always be for the services rendered for the Work Permit and/or Temporary resident visa that are necessary once the job offer has been found.

Call us, and speak to us specifically about the reasonable arrangements that we will make for you to have our office assist you in this option.

We wish to find the best options for our clients ---this is their fuerst class way to their new home in Canada.
